GS (Guaranty Sucks) Battery

After work and a day is off, I’m on my way to get my car. Sky was dark and it seems going to rain somehow it didn’t, everything seems to be normal. I reach my car as usual get all my stuff in it and start to ignite, alarm sounds……eyoueyoueoeuoeuoeoue…….EEEEeeeerrrrrrrrr……….!@#$%^&@#$%^&#$%^@#$%^&&^%$##$%^&………….Car alarm sound and signal light blink…tick..tick..tick…attery and fuel indicator turn on………AAAAARRRRRrrrhhhhhhhhh……Not again!!!!!! Car battery die again…….

This is the second time, my car stop moving in company because of battery problem. Consider my self do have car maintenance check and it still can happen; battery. First time happen in February 2005 and second time happen April 2006. The ‘new’ battery can only last for 14 month. Guest what……it just out of warranty for 2 months. I get help and start my car and get to my mechanic.

Me: Shit man, the battery die again.
Mechanic: Let me check it. Where you get the battery from?
Me: The shop just opposite xxxxxx shopping complex, name ‘Hxxx Cxxx’. Remember.
Mechanic: Yah…..Let see….

Take out a voltmeter, measure the voltage level. It shows about 13V. He switch it off and on again and again……The voltage start to swing and 5 minutes later it begin to drop to 12V.

Mechanic: Seems like the battery is spoil. Can’t help but have to replace this battery.
Me: How about the warranty?
Mechanic: Hmmmm….Let see….The battery purchase at Feb last year….Hah….out of warranty.
Me: What!!!!!!!! Oh man this is really tooooo bad.
Mechanic: Battery sometimes would last long and some will not. Some can last for approximate 2 years and some a fews month.
Me: Do you thing I’m changing a dry cell battery for a toy car? (Smile……..but still feel bad of this problem)
Mechanic: You wanna change a new battery right now? Even the car could ignite and start but it wouldn’t spare you tomorrow and same issue will happen.
Me: Well…..then change it. (Shit…….the mechanic trying hard but this is fact. I just do not give a chance to let it happen again)

By the time I get all this thing done is almost close to 10pm and I yet to grab my dinner. Erh…forget it….Thanks to GS battery for all this. Finally I understand why they name their battery manufacturer company as GS because GS = Guarantee Sucks.
