New world - Shanghai

Shanghai (8th April) - Has been living in shanghai for week after left my home town. I was total alien here. To begin a new live is not that easy and mostly it involve MONEY and large sum of it; that what you need but not exactly all of it, which it does incorporate of other elements. This could such as your family members, friends, buddy and etc. This you can’t get it over here. Black coffee can’t get it here. Might ask anyone that come over do bring me a few packs.

No picture was uploaded cause by new system using Vista and Sonyericsson web page stated its new pc application could not support until further notice. OMG.

Things that experience in Shanghai:

  1. Taxi fare is terrible. Once you jump up to a cab, straight charge you RMB11, and then will charge per mileage. Don’t happy here. Even stuck in jam the meter is still running but just slow (a bit).
  2. Traffic is a mass here. Traffic light is useless. Red light, driver still could do a right/left turn and the whole process is just like crazy.
  3. People don’t give you a damn and move fast. Rushing for time and yet little to accomplish as I see. Seem they are rushing for nothing and just follow what other people doing. Some of them are born to be con man.
  4. Since I have no car over there. Travel from one place to another has become a challenge. Public transport is a lot better compare to hometown. Paying RMB2 you can all the way to shanghai downtown. If taking those free shuttles, then prepare to become sardine inside. Those shuttle services are provided by Carrefour, Lotus and other hyper-mart.
  5. People like to use horn. Pee-pee-peeeeeeeee…….Annoying. They will just press horn even there is no people and keep it on and on and on.
  6. Always that is someone follow you and they have some agenda that you do want to know.
  7. Imported goods are expensive here. The prices has deviate about 150% - 200% from what I can get from home country and the quantity is 50% less.
  8. Cloth is expensive too for branded stuff.
  9. Food is cheap and in big dishes.
  10. Living expense is on the high side especially for electricity, gas and water bills.
  11. Weather change is fast and unpredictable. The day I arrive is about 18C and all of sudden the next day become 16 then 15 then 11. Today afternoon, not bad 18 C.
  12. I just discover that even my blog edit site all in Chinese character!!!!
