A tale of a faMily

During 70s there are 2 good friends name Ah Ma and Ah Sin that they help each and other. At that time economy is not good, so both work hard for living. Ah Ma selling durian and Ah Sin work for harbor trading business. They are close brother that they share everything; money and time.

Times fly, after few years Ah Ma married and got 3 kids name; Ma Jr, Ah Chay and Blacky. Ah Ma was struggle for his durian business and also his family, so living was kind of hard on that time. He got lots of 5 years plan for his family.

Ma Jr, blank head guy the eldest son in the family. He is demanding person, which mean he demand a lot but not work it out although he is the eldest among brothers but he still act like a baby boy. Ma Jr. likes to spend all his father hard earn money to buy a lot of irrelevant stuff but the father say no single words to him.

Ah Chay, the second among brothers who is hard work for every single penny. He understood that he can rely to his father, so he decided to work on his own that any job that could provide him financial security.

Blacky, the youngest son in the family. He is different from 2 brothers, he is a bit bold compare to his 2 eldest brothers. Here is the characteristic 1. He don’t demand but complain. 2. He doesn’t need to get thing but to blame. 3. If he got no money to spend that is his father fault. 4. If you tell him that is your fault then he will reply “This is your problem, none of my businezzzz, ah cayyyyy”.

The good thing is there is no serious argument between brother, everyone seems to be tolerating each and other………….

After 20 years, Ah Ma has retired and starts a new plan for his family. Now, Ma Jr has grown to a man. He has become a business man. He proclaim himself as a successful business man that his mind only think of globalization. He got a lot of business in different sectors whatever you can name it; even monkey business to space but not to mention successful. This hurt ahhhhh. Whenever his business run in debt or trouble, he got 3 ways; 1. Ask father for financial support, dump big sum of money into his business without paying back like his father always owl him. 2. Set up Ah Chay, by asking him to have his money to venture in Ma Jr business but Ah Chay got no authority in management except public relationship department. 3. Try to cheat black but it ends up the other way round, being cheated by blacky instead.

This is how Ma Jr got his wealth after all with thick face to tell the whole world that he is a shameless guy.

Ah Chay, could say is a successful businessman in early stage but since he has venture so many business with Ma Jr is not that successful either. He is trying to work out something not to have his financial control by Ma Jr. He try hard to get management to work on his side. Sometime luck is just not on his side, all efforts are being down to drain. After all he is just like a puppet.

Blacky, has his own business company that doing construction work. As he was the guy with thick skin like his eldest brother and he got his own concept “Whatever is problem, is your problem”. So all his construction, either crack or not compliance with rules is your problem as well. If things happen, standard answer will be given. Why you buy it, no one ask you to buy it or this is caused by some unforeseen circumstances, we’ll look into it. He got also a little business venture with Ma Jr as well that was running at a loss. Financial report shows red…red…red…….Like student always fail his/her exam.

Ah Ma, like his eldest son very much that till 80% of his property was given to him instead of 60% as plan early stage. He rarely cared about his second and third son, so the fund is further reduce to 20% share between these 2 brothers. This is what he care a fair game.

After another 15 years, Ma Jr cry his face to his father saying that he is losing competition between brothers. He hopes his father gave him money but he doesn’t know that his father has broked because of his arrogance and ignorance. Ah Ma think instead of giving Ma Jr money how about a plan to reunion these 3 kids. The ultimate idea is get the 2 kids Ah chay and blacky money dump to Ma Jr, just to make sure so call the lessen the gap between the rich and poor.

Bottom line, we couldn’t predict what happen in future except GOD but this scenario would not need a genius to predict it.

Sunday, breezy morning had my jogging as normal. After all, I drove my car to get breakfast and I just stop at junction as the traffic light turn red. There is 1 motorcycle in front of me and another bicycle going across. As we understand different between human being are more civilize than animal but it seems the other way round. As normal for motorcycles thought of traffic light just for decoration, red lights????? Who cares……boooooohhhhh……gone…Blah, whatever.

The wired thing is the old lady that cycle sudden fall in front of me. Alright, thought of going down to help. Some how I observed those people on the other side doesn’t even bother…..Ah city people = cool blooded……...
